I LOVE this team! I absolutely cannot say enough great things about everyone that has been a part of my healing and guidance! Mega hats off to the life-changing benefits of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy taught here. I have heard from others that their DBT experience was Nothing like what I've come to know through Northland Behavioral. I struggle with 9 co-occuring diagnoses and live as fulfilling of a life as possible with the skills and guidance I've learned through NBHW. Granted I am miles from my goals, but that's because of the extreme abundance of disorders and decades of avoidance issues. My quality of life has drastically improved for the better. There simply are not enough words to express my gratitude and fondness for this team. Thank you so much for all of your patience, understanding, professionalism, and exceptionally fabulous therapeutic measures of all kinds. And for the record, I have fired a great many therapist in the past for having been misguided, misunderstood or simply not feeling as if they genuinely cared about my mental "WELLNESS". The dedication of the staff here always extends measures of therapeutic improvement for me to pratice until I finally break bad behaviors and begin to truly understand, to get it and not only to get it but also to actively incorporate into my life. My favorite things about Steve Daily are his ability to peel me off the ceiling when I can barely breathe while anxiety ridden and in manic highs from bipolar disorder and his ability to weed out, identify, summarize and call bullshit when I believe my own messy thinking. Amazing team... They need clones!
