We didn't get everything I wanted but we did get the most important things changed to a more fair agreement.
This wasn't just about him getting a commission. It was abut the relationship which suggests Nate and Opes are oriented towards long-term thinking and getting the little things right rather than getting the short-term kill.
After some back and forth an nonchalance from the listing agents, Nate went to bat for me several times getting these people moving. He also went to battle over a clause in the contract both he and my attorney did not like an took the time to explain it to me.
I was wrong on all counts.

I'll admit, I was skeptical of what a brokerage agent can do for me. After all, an agent is paid their commission by the people listing the property. So in the end they are not working for you.
The next day I had about 60 properties in my inbox. I probably should have been more specific but that's my fault but hey better too many than too few.
